This is a secret gem in Tacoma. People, wake up and go there. Yes, the location has housed several different, uninspired restaurants. This one is different. Best fish and chips in the city. This is our local spot, a friendly after-hours bar, and a warm and hospitable restaurant. Laura will socialize with the guests, and if you don't care for what's on the menu, she'll make something special for you. We've had the ahi tuna with a wasabi butter crust, very yummy, and a great steak with panko-coated shrimp. The split-pea soup is a must-have. --- Nicholas L.
