Community Gardeners Summit, at Manitou Saturday, March 20

Kick-off spring the right way at the first Tacoma/Pierce County Community Gardeners Summit from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Manitou Community Center, 4806 S. 66th St.

 Learn from expert growers how to start a new community garden, or how to garden on your own.

The event is free and open to everyone interested in growing food and flowers.
