Hoodie robber behind bars | Crime

The man accused of being the “Hoodie Bandit” is behind bars tonight in the Pierce County Jail.
Chris Allen Hughes is accused of four bank robberies in a spree that started on September 28th and ended November 6th. In that time, he is said to have hit banks in Fircrest, Tacoma, Puyallup and Parkland.
Someone who saw Hughes picture in the media contacted police and told them he was Hughes was AWOL from the military. Police contacted the military who said that Hughes was actually out of the service but they had an address for him.
Police went to the house. There, they met Hughes wife, who identified him from the surveillance photos during the robberies.
They arrested Hughes Thursday and he confessed to the four robberies.
He is now charged with four counts of 1st degree robbery.
