Ron Sims to visit Point Ruston, Allen Place Discovery Center on Monday

""
Submitted by Ray Marcham on Sunday, November 22nd, 03:42pm

HUD Deputy Secretary and former King County Executive Ron Sims will be visiting Tacoma on Monday, visiting two locations where the hopes are to revitalize their communities.

Sims will first head to Hilltop, where he will be touring the Allen Place Discovery Center on MLK Way starting at 10:45 a.m.  The center, formerly known as Valhalla Hall, is being remodeled to house a youth center, performing arts center and the technology-focused Discovery Center.

He'll then head up to Point Ruston at noon, where he'll learn about the mixed-use development being built on a former Superfund site.  He'll also talk with workers about the jobs they are doing.

What's up Ron? Was there some tax you forgot to enact before joining the Commissar? I'd imagine you're fitting in quite well with the tax-the-rich socialist crowd that rules DC these days.

Why don't you go back there and stay there? You've done enough damage here.
