Getting around Tacoma and Pierce County on Thanksgiving Day will be cheaper than usual…as in FREE.

That low, low fare applies to local buses and shuttles.

Other forms of transportation including Bus Plus, Olympia Express, Intercity Transit buses and offices, and Sounder commuter rail will not operate on Turkey Day.

On Friday, many will operate as normal, except the Sounder, which will operate on a holiday schedule.
